After you have registered for the convention, you will be emailed links to sign-on to the convention sessions. You will have the ability to select speakers you would like to watch and then you will be sent reminders about those sessions.
There will not be registration credit given for the convention. That is now the policy of the USPTA. So, to earn education credit, you must attend each session. By having your name on the attendee screen in zoom, you will receive 1 hour of education credit for each hour you attend. Attendance will be taken at the beginning and towards the end of the session. You must have your name on the screen to receive credit.
Yes, you can receive 1.5 hours of education credit for each hour of live Zoom sessions you attend. To do this, you MUST have your video camera on, and we must be able to see you on the screen attending the meeting throughout the seminar. Also, interactive questions, polling or other may take place during the live Zoom sessions. You must be active on those sessions to receive the credit. Zoom Webinars:
Webinars will be worth 1 hour of education credit for each 1 hour attended.
The presentations will be recorded and be accessible after the convention. You will be notified by email about when and how to access them.
If you called in on a phone we need you to ID yourself in the Chat room so we can award you your credit.
Ed credits from the live sessions will be sent to the national office after the convention. Credits earned from watching the recorded sessions will be sent to national on a weekly basis.
During the convention, replays of a recorded sessions can be viewed by clicking on the “Replays” tab at our convention web site. You will be emailed directions on how to access the recorded sessions, during the 30 grace period, after the convention is over.
